Maryke Nuth (“Maryke”) has vast experience of almost 20 years practice as lawyer. She is a licensed advocate and a member of the Associations of Indonesian Advocates (PERADI). She is also a licensed Capital Market Legal Consultant as well as a licensed Intellectual Property Consultant.
She have had engagements as senior or special advisor to European law firms and governmental institutions. She provides high level advice on large scale corporate and commercial projects and transactions in Indonesia as well as Europe. An active speaker in many international conferences worldwide, Maryke is considered as an expert in the areas of Information Communication Technology Law, Corporate and Commercial, Intellectual Property, Data protection and Privacy Law.
Given her academic achievement and long experience in handling complex IT-contracts and IT-solutions, she is also considered an IT-contract expert. She is in the board of leadership of several legal professional associations in Indonesia and regional Asia-Pacific.
She obtained her law degree from Catholic University of Atma Jaya Jakarta. She holds a PhD in legal science from University of Oslo and two master degrees respectively Master in Corporate and Commercial Law (University of New South Wales, Australia) and Master in Information and Communication Technology Law (University of Oslo, Norway).
She is closely associated with the Norwegian Research Center and Law at the University of Oslo where she provides lectures in ICT-law subjects. She is a published author of legal books in Europe and has issued numerous publications internationally. She receives international awards for her publication.
